Documentary about Virtual Newsroom at American University in Cairo Premieres Today

“Virtual Journalism: Inside the Virtual Newsroom of the American University in Cairo,” a documentary covering the launch of AUC’s virtual newsroom, premiered today at the Virtual Journalism Conference at the Murrow School of Journalism at Washington State University. A nice write-up of the premier and the broader project, a collaboration between Forum members Larry Pintak of the Kamal Adham Center for Journalism and Research and Dancing Ink Productions’ Joshua Fouts, appears on DIP’s blog today. Larry and Josh formed the idea for this partnership at the 2008 Aspen Institute Arab-U.S. Media Forum, held at the Dead Sea in Jordan last March.
